Your tasks:

• Provide technical helpline support to product and application enquiries from Asia Sales subsidiaries' technical teams.

• Provide on-site support to customers to resolve product application issues whenever deemed necessary, including travel to Asian countries.

• Support Asia Sales subsidiaries in the Service Level project services.

• Establish new solutions for emerging product applications in Asia.

• Support product training for technical colleagues in Asia.

• Working closely with key stakeholders (local & overseas) to continuously improve technical helpline productivity.

Your qualification:

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering (any field).

• Must have 4-6 years of working experience in product application support or field application support.

• Possesses good knowledge of FA products, including proximity sensors, area scanners, barcode readers, safety curtain, and safety scanner.

• Pre- and post-sales support and consultancy experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of Field Bus communication interface protocols (e.g. ProfiBus, ProfiNET,  EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT) will be a plus.

• Experience in integrating sensors (barcode scanner or camera-based products experience to IPC, PLC is highly desired.

• Possess project management skills in managing multiple tasks execution.

• Good communication and technical documentation skills.

• Vision (camera based) products (Use before, know how to configure, solved industrial problems before).

Soft skills:

• Fluent in English communication and skilled at explaining technical topics in simple terms.

• Self-starting and independent individual.

• Passionate about solving product applications and learning new product features.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks between multiple ongoing projects.
