About the role

Borneo Harapan Ventures Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and converting prospects into loyal customers. This position is instrumental in achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence in the region.

What you'll be doing

1. Identify, prospect and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or customer segments

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers

4. Conduct needs analysis with prospects to understand their requirements and propose appropriate solutions

5. Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

6. Prepare accurate sales quotations, proposals and sales reports on a regular basis

7. Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM systems

8. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to stay informed about product features and market developments

9. Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to generate leads and enhance brand visibility

10. Follow up with leads and customers in a timely manner to ensure conversion and retention

What we're looking for

1. 1-3 years of proven sales experience in a sales representative or sales consultant role

2. Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

4. Demonstrable ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions

5. Proficiency in using sales tools, CRM software and Microsoft Office applications

6. Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment

8. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

9. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of local languages is advantageous

10. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field (or equivalent experience)
