Tanggungjawab

The Assistant Engineer is responsible for supporting the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware devices, system operation and network environments.
This role involves hands-on technical work, diagnostic analysis and providing timely solutions to ensure smooth and secure IT operations across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Networking or related fields
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA or CCNA are an added advantage
  • Good understanding of PC/server hardware, Windows /LINUX OS and basic cybersecurity
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices.
  • Knowledge of basic networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN)
  • Able to support system applications, email, backups, antivirus and storage systems
  • 1-2 years of hands-on IT support or engineering experience
  • Able to document technical work, inventory and configurations
  • Good communications skills and able to explain technical issues clearly
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to learn new technologies
  • Willing to travel for on-site support, installation and project work

Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1-2 support for hardware, system and network issues to reduce downtime
  • Troubleshoot problems related to desktop, laptops, servers, networks and software
  • Respond to user support requests quickly and professionally
  • Assist in installing, configuring and testing network equipment, servers and software
  • Support IT project such as upgrades, network expansion, hardware replacement and office setups
  • Ensure all installations follow company standards and best practices
  • Train and guide users on systems, applications and IT policies
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of configurations, troubleshooting steps and IT processes
  • Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements
  • Participate in training for continuous professional development
