Q Industries & Enterprise (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a leading hotel & restaurant equipment specialist that is currently operating from Seksyen 26 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The organization has been in operation for over 2 decades and our products primarily cater for hotels with a 3 – 5 star rating as well as established restaurants & cafes nationwide. Our product line encompasses all essential loose items needed by these establishments such as chinaware, glassware, cutleries, buffetware, table accessories, linens, guestroom items, kitchenware and many more.
We are a highly motivated and dynamic team. Currently, we are seeking for a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator who will be able to perform the following tasks (but not limited to) on a day to day basis:
· Monitor all processed orders received by the company ensuring none are overlooked.
· Validate and counter check Purchase Orders that were issued to manufacturers.
· Regularly follow up with manufacturers on the status of orders issued.
· Plan out delivery schedules in advance based on the availability of stocks, urgency and requirements of each outstanding order.
· Prepare delivery time table for company’s reference.
· Issue Delivery Orders & Invoices using the QNE system with sufficient time prior to the deliveries.
· Coordinate deliveries with the company’s warehouse & delivery team efficiently.
· Coordinate deliveries with third party forwarders & transporters efficiently.
· Coordinate shipments with manufacturers and forwarders in order to import goods in the most efficient and cost effective way.
· Handle any logistics enquiries from the sales team.
· Provide status updates to the sales team on their order’s shipment.
· Handle documentations related to shipments, custom clearance and logistics.
· Troubleshoot any challenges that is logistics related.
Job Requirement:
· A minimum of 1 year of working experience in a similar job.
· Familiar with import documentations (FORM E, FORM D, Customs Declarations) as well as import procedures with MITI.
· An individual that is careful and NOT prone to making mistakes.
· Organized and possesses a high level of administrative abilities to effectively manage paperwork.
· Is proficient in writing and handling emails.
· Able to communicate and write in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
· Ability to work in a team.
· Has self-initiative and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Willing to work at Seksyen 26, Shah Alam.
· Preferably to have working experience with the QnE system.
