Job Purpose
The Logistics Coordinator will manage and optimize the daily end-to-end logistics operations for CJH CE. This role is responsible for overseeing all inbound shipments (components, raw materials, or finished goods) and outbound distributions (to distributors, retailers, or end consumers). The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, cost-efficiency, regulatory compliance, and provide data-driven insights through regular performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound Logistics Management
Coordinate and track all incoming shipments from domestic and international suppliers/manufacturers.
Manage customs clearance processes, ensuring all import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, etc.) complies with local and international regulations.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to optimize transit times and minimize port/demurrage fees.
Oversee the receiving process at the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation against purchase orders (POs).
2. Outbound Logistics & Distribution
Plan, schedule, and oversee daily outbound shipments to B2B clients, retail partners, and direct consumers.
Select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods (LTL, FTL, Air Freight, Parcel) based on delivery urgency and budget.
Generate and verify outbound documentation, including shipping labels, delivery orders, and export documents if applicable.
Track shipments in real-time, proactively resolving any transit delays, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
3. Reporting & Analytics
Maintain and update logistics dashboards, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, freight costs, and carrier performance.
Prepare weekly and monthly logistics reports summarizing operational spend, volume trends, and bottleneck areas for management.
Conduct regular freight audit processes to ensure carrier invoicing matches agreed-upon contract rates.
Use data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements within the supply chain.
4. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure optimal storage utilization and efficient picking/packing workflows.
Assist in periodic cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to maintain high stock accuracy.
Monitor and report on slow-moving or aging inventory.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, couriers, and freight forwarders.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews with key logistics vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Act as the internal point of contact for Sales, Procurement, and Customer Service teams regarding shipment status and delivery timelines.
Role Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3–5 years of hands-on experience in handling both inbound and outbound logistics. Experience in the Consumer Electronics (CE) or fast-moving tech sector is highly preferred.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs compliance.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, sharp attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
