Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to company recipes and SOPs.
• Ensure all food preparation meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and station management.
• Monitor stock levels, assist in stock rotation (FIFO), and proper storage of ingredients.
• Check freshness of food supplies and ensure proper handling to maintain quality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure compliance with KKM and Halal SOP requirements at all times.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Guide and support kitchen assistants or junior staff when required.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist in minimizing food wastage and controlling portion cost.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Head Chef.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of kitchen SOP, hygiene, and food safety standards (KKM & Halal).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Good discipline, punctuality, and attitude.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Oriental Kopi, Klang Valley & Selangor Area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
