· Assist Head Chemist in planning and executing laboratory tests according to test procedures.

· Conduct chemical experiments under the guidance of Head Chemist.

· Document test procedures and results and report the same to Head Chemist for analysis.

· Assist in developing standard operating procedures for chemical tests.

· Supervise co-workers in their job duties when needed.

· Maintain the laboratory clean, safe and organized.

· Support in developing project plan, scope, schedule, and budget for chemical projects.

· Communicate project status to Supervisor on regular basis.

· Setup laboratory equipment, materials and supplies ready before conducting chemical experiments.

· Coordinate, plan, and perform daily laboratory functions.

· Analyze root causes for problems and suggest corrective actions.

· Assist Quality Manager establishing ISO procedures and good lab practices.

· Develop or revise the test analytical methods to ensure quality, productivity and consistency.

· Identify and report new equipment needs to Supervisor.

· Report equipment repair and maintenance requests in timely manner.

· Recording and interpreting data accurately and accurately.

· Communicating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
