Main Responsibilities

The incumbent main responsibilities are:

a. To ensure safety, facilities, and cleanliness of hostel at all times.

b. To run routine check on hostels and reporting any damages to furniture and fittings.

c. To monitor complaint from UPM from time to time.

d. To ensure all hostels are maintained in best of condition with regular maintenance and repairs.

e. To conduct Regular Inspections of the hostel with our client according to our rental agreement and related agreements.

f. To supervise and ensure the hostels are in clean and tidy condition by our appointed cleaners at all time.

g. To plan and make continuous improvement on effective and efficient maintenance program for 14 blocks of hostel.

h. To act efficiently by providing great problem-solving skills to overcome different situation that may arise within the hostel.

i. To prepare and update Hostel Maintenance Policy and its relevant SOP on regular basis.

j. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the hostel meets health and safety regulations, maintaining fire safety protocols, and managing emergency procedures.

k. Other back-end support when needed.

Qualification

a. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.

b. Experiences in Facilities and Maintenance Management.

c. Experienced in managing facilities and maintenance in hostel/buildings/accommodation.

d. Experienced in monitoring the overall maintenance operation in the hostel.

e. Excellent interpersonal skills.

f. Responsible and dependable.

g. Willing to attend emergencies after office hour.

Experience

At least 7-8 years of working experience in the managing hostel is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
