Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, plan, and manage all phases of the construction from pre-construction to project handover.
2. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities to ensure timely delivery.
4. Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and works.
5. Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and quality requirements.
6. Review construction drawings, progress claims, variation orders, and reports.
7. Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and ensure corrective actions for any deviations.
8. Monitor and control project costs, risks, and timelines to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management, with proven experience leading medium to large-scale projects.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contract administration, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- PMP certification or equivalent professional credential is an advantage.
