Position Summary:
- To provide highest level of service possible in delivering all facets of warehouse management and general logistics to support efficient retail operations.
- To support the Warehouse operations and assist CPU Manager to oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods.
- Maintain inventory integrity – minimise stock losses & ensure monthly (& daily if necessary) stock counts.
- To ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Accuracy in delivering requested orders to Outlets.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Meeting Order Fulfilment within specified timelines.
- Ensure smooth warehouse and support CPU Manager for all inventory requirements.
- Responsible for the storage and safekeeping of goods in the warehouse by taking a proactive approach in initiating protective and preventive measures.
- Overseeing stock control.
- Monitoring the use of automated and computerized systems.
- Monitor all incoming and outgoing shipment to ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate within turnaround timeline.
- Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
- Packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched.
- To coordinate with the CPU Manager on the accuracy and fulfilment of the order generated for shipping and receiving.
Inventory Integrity
- Producing regular stock on hand reports for store replenishment and allocation.
- Overseeing stock control and housekeeping by brand, category, article, and SKU.
- Working together with Managers and floor to manage inventory and minimize stock losses.
- Conduct daily, monthly stock count for store.
- Resolve discrepancies within 2-3 days and report all findings to Warehouse Manager and Brand Managers.
- Monitor and coordinate receiving of merchandise according to operation procedures.
Achieve Accuracy of Order Request
- Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quantity.
- Coordinating with respective departments to ensure turnaround timeline is adhered too.
- Work in line with the Manager to maintain a regular cycle and periodic stock count to ensure stock accuracy and corrective actions taken to rectify the errors on a timely manner.
- Record stock correctly to ensure the accuracy of stock control system.
- Ensure a standard receiving process is adhered to minimize error in the process.
Other Warehouse Duties
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Plan regular cycle and periodic stock count to ensure stock accuracy and corrective actions taken to rectify the errors on a timely basis.
Personal Development
- To have and always maintain competent knowledge in areas of duty.
- Complete E-Learning Modules on timely manner.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Minimum high school certificate (SPM)
- Professional Experience:
- 2 years of Warehousing experience.
- Experience in stock & inventory control reports.
- Good team player.
- Able to communicate with all levels across different departments & divisions.
- Must be able to cope with the physical demands of large quantities of stock and inventory.
- Willing to work overtime on short notice.
- Has meticulous and efficient work ethic.
- Languages: Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia in both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
