Key Responsibilities1. Quality System Management
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (if applicable)
- Ensure documentation control, audit readiness, and compliance with customer standards
- Support internal, external, and customer audits
2. Incoming, In-Process & Final Quality Control
- Oversee inspection of raw materials, in-process production, and finished wire harness products
- Ensure proper implementation of quality inspection plans and control plans
- Monitor defect rates and implement corrective actions
3. Customer Quality & Complaint Handling
- Handle customer complaints (8D reports, RCA – Root Cause Analysis)
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams for problem resolution
- Ensure timely response to customer quality issues
4. Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma where applicable)
- Analyze quality data and implement preventive actions
- Reduce scrap, rework, and rejection rates
5. Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide QC inspectors and quality engineers
- Conduct training on quality standards, inspection methods, and procedures
- Ensure team adherence to SOPs and WI (Work Instructions)
6. Supplier Quality Support
- Monitor supplier performance and quality issues
- Support supplier audits and improvement initiatives
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR)
Key RequirementsEducation
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related)
Experience
- 3–7 years experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing (wire harness or electronics preferred)
- Experience in automotive or electronics industry is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes
- Familiar with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards
- Experience in 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Root Cause Analysis
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
