Our client is an award winning Australian financial services company providing brokerage platforms, trading services, and clearing and settlement infrastructure to both retail and institutional clients. As part of a broader financial services group, the company powers a range of white-label trading platforms, including one of Australia’s leading online trading platforms, while also supporting backend market operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices, event-driven systems, and container-based applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and other teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Promote best practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and observability for system monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services, with a focus on Docker and ECS orchestration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including senior or lead responsibilities.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and modern delivery environments.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Core/.NET 5+ (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework).
• Proven experience building microservices and event-driven systems (e.g., Apache Kafka)
• Strong background in AWS-based cloud solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, IAM), including containerized deployments (Docker, ECS).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Nice to have: Experience with system observability (New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) and legacy platform modernization.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
