Full Time Product Engineer Jobs, salary up to MYR 9,999 in FENGSHI METAL TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN BHD Nibong Tebal - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Engineering

• Support new product introduction (NPI) from design review to mass production.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and BOMs for feasibility and manufacturability.
• Propose DFM/DFA improvements to optimize cost, quality, and production efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents (drawings, specifications, ECN/ECR).
• Support product customization and engineering changes during production lifecycle.

2. Manufacturing & Process Support

• Work closely with sheet metal, stamping, machining, and assembly teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support tooling, fixture, jig, and die development and improvement.
• Assist in defining manufacturing processes, work instructions, and control plans.
• Support first article inspection (FAI) and pilot runs.

3. Customer & Project Support

• Act as technical contact for customers on product-related matters.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and problem-solving with customers.
• Support quotation and cost estimation by providing technical inputs.

4. Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product issues (8D, CAPA).
• Ensure products comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product engineering / manufacturing engineering (sheet metal or precision manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, stamping, CNC machining, and assembly is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).
• Knowledge of materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and surface treatments.
• Good problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
