Job Description: HVAC TechnicianDuties & Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct regular inspections (preventive maintenance) to ensure all equipment operates at optimum performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues such as gas leaks, compressor faults, electrical problems, and airflow issues.
• Check gas pressure, voltage, electrical connections, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Carry out cleaning services such as indoor/outdoor unit cleaning, chemical servicing, and overhaul.
• Prepare daily work reports, maintenance forms, and inspection records accurately.
• Advise customers or management on required repairs, improvements, or equipment replacements.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with SOPs and industry standards.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and ensure the work area is kept clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
• Experience in HVAC servicing and maintenance is an added advantage.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Skilled in using maintenance tools such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeters, and other related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, or under various working conditions.
• Additional Skills:
• Experience with chiller systems, AHU (Air Handling Units), and cooling towers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical work and piping.
