Are you a driven business builder with a passion for forging relationships and closing strategic deals? At IPS Malaysia, we’re looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to drive market growth, lead client engagements, and champion our brand in the industrial solutions space.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and client outreach.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.

- Drive the full sales lifecycle—from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.

- Manage and grow the sales pipeline; track performance metrics and forecast revenue trends.

- Collaborate with Proposal Engineers to craft commercially viable and technically sound offers.

Strategy & Growth

- Lead the development of marketing campaigns aligned with brand strategy and business goals.

- Identify and evaluate entry strategies for new markets and industries.

- Support strategic planning, market intelligence, and competitor analysis efforts.

Operational Oversight & Compliance

- Review customer purchase orders and reconcile them with issued quotations/proposals.

- Ensure internal coordination for ISO compliance and quality standards across departments.

- Train, guide, and motivate junior team members to achieve sales goals.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree related to Engineering, Business or other equivalent field.

- 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in engineering, rotating equipment, or industrial services.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

- Strong awareness of market trends and customer needs in technical industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
