R&D Team Lead (Full Stack Developer)

Your Mission

As the R&D Team Lead (Full Stack) for Xwerk—DeltaFrontier’s flagship AI-powered Smart Workspace Platform—you will act as a critical player-coach. You will split your impact between hands-on, high-quality full-stack engineering and leading a talented development squad. You will architect scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that integrate real-time sensor data, automate workspace experiences, and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and APIs. Your leadership will drive technical excellence, foster innovation, and ensure the timely delivery of robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities️ Hands-on Full Stack Engineering & Architecture (60%)

• End-to-End Development: Lead and actively contribute to the design, coding, testing, and deployment of the Xwerk platform's web applications and core services.
• System Architecture: Design and optimize scalable, asynchronous back-end architectures to process high-throughput data streams from IoT sensors, video feeds, and enterprise systems.
• UI/UX Engineering: Oversee and build intuitive, responsive front-end dashboards for real-time data visualization and complex analytics.
• AI & Data Integration: Architect and implement integration layers for AI modules (facial recognition, occupancy prediction, behavioral analytics) utilizing web sockets and streaming protocols.
• DevOps Excellence: Establish, enforce, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, containerization standards, and security protocols across all environments.

Team Leadership & Agile Delivery (40%)

• Technical Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and conduct code reviews for a multidisciplinary team of developers, fostering a culture of clean code, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
• Sprint & Project Management: Drive agile ceremonies, manage sprint planning, allocate resources effectively, and mitigate technical risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, AI/ML Engineers, and QA to translate product roadmaps into actionable technical execution plans.
• Tech Scouting: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AIoT, smart building protocols, and full-stack frameworks to continuously modernize the Xwerk platform.

• Direct experience building B2B Enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML deployment pipelines (predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or computer vision).
• Familiarity with Smart Building/IoT protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) and space utilization analytics.
