Senior / Assistant Manager, Talent Development (Contract)
Type: Maternity Cover
Location: West, Bukit Merah
Schedule: 5-days work week

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior / Assistant Manager, Talent Development to support the planning and administration of fellowship and scholarship programmes for healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of talent development initiatives, including funding acquisition, scholarship administration, selection processes, claims management, and the organisation of annual scholarship award events. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about talent development and professional development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer fellowship and scholarship programmes for healthcare professionals.
  • Support funding acquisition efforts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on scholarship-related matters.
  • Facilitate and oversee scholarship application, selection, approval, and claims processes.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely processing of scholarship documentation and disbursements.
  • Coordinate and organise scholarship award ceremonies and related engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance programme effectiveness and ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on programme outcomes and key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in talent development, programme administration, scholarship management, learning and development, or related areas.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager position.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
