Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician Intern role based in Puchong. The Technician Intern will assist senior technicians with the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of CCTV and ICT networking systems at client sites and in the workshop. Daily tasks include basic cable management, equipment setup, labeling, and performing routine checks under supervision. The intern will help prepare tools, materials, and documentation for projects, and support inventory tracking, product testing, and simple troubleshooting activities. The role also involves participating in internal and client training sessions to build technical knowledge, following safety procedures, and providing clear progress updates to the supervising technician or project lead.
Qualifications

• Foundational understanding or coursework in ICT, networking, electronics, or related technical fields, with an interest in CCTV and security systems.
• Basic hands-on skills in using tools for installation work (e.g., crimping, basic wiring, mounting of devices) and willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, diagrams, and checklists, with attention to detail and careful documentation habits.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to ask questions, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced project environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and project teams on-site.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Willingness to work on-site at customer locations, occasionally in varied environmental conditions, and to comply with all safety and company policies.
