Key Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking, ensuring all areas are ready for paint application.
• Apply paint and coatings using spray guns and other equipment in accordance with aerospace industry specifications and procedures.
• Maintain expertise in the correct handling and mixing of paints, stains, primers, and other materials, following manufacturer guidelines and environmental controls.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects, ensuring flawless quality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the aircraft maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate schedules and maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in paint technology and application techniques within the aerospace sector.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a spray painter, ideally within the aerospace industry or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of paint materials, techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, paint specifications, and process instructions with high accuracy.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest quality and safety standards.
