Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of digital solutions (scripts, add-ins, automation tools, or AI-powered workflows) to support efficiency and coordination in civil, structural, and/or multidisciplinary BIM projects.
• To assist in the selection, deployment and support of digital tools targeted at engineering design works and/or automation of work processes within a consultancy environment.
• To develop and optimize tools to enhance internal workflows (document control, engineering design validation, etc) for performance, usability, and maintainability.
• To identify technology-driven improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Assist in testing and basic review of scripts/tools to ensure functionality and alignment with established guidelines.
• Work closely with BIM or engineering teams to explore opportunities for improving workflows through digital tools.
• Assist project teams in maintaining BIM or engineering deliverables in accordance with internal procedures and project requirements.
• In addition, for BIM specialization, support BIM asset data preparation and organisation to facilitate downstream use for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Facility Management (FM) workflows.

Requirements:

1. A recognized degree holder in:

• Civil/ Structural Engineering for structural specialization
• Architectural, Engineering or adjacent fields for BIM specialization

2. Common competencies:

• Basic knowledge or interest in programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python, C#, HTML/JavaScript) is an advantage.
• Have basic knowledge of software technologies/workflows (e.g. Git, CI/CD and web frameworks) is an advantage.

3. Structural specialization:

• Have basic knowledge of one of the analysis software suites (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Prokon, etc) is an advantage

4. BIM specialization:

• Basic understanding of BIM concepts, preferably with exposure to Revit and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) workflows.
• Familiarity or exposure to visual programming tools such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, or equivalent.
• Exposure to BIM modelling workflows and data handling; BIM-related training or coursework is preferred.

5. Good communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

6. Strong interest in digital engineering, automation, and/or BIM technologies.

7. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

8. Able to work independently with guidance and support senior team members on resolving BIM and/or engineering issues.

9. Fresh graduates with strong interest in BIM and digital engineering workflows are encouraged to apply.
