Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Kuala Ketil. The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and safety within the manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include monitoring process performance, identifying root causes of process deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and supporting continuous improvement projects. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and maintenance to scale up new or improved processes, update process documentation, and support commissioning of new equipment or process changes. The Process Engineer will ensure that processes comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and relevant safety and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, including understanding of manufacturing operations and industrial processes.
- Experience in Process Design and Process Control to develop, optimize, and stabilize production lines.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret process data, perform root cause analyses, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and basic project management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Kuala Ketil, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
- Experience in rubber, latex, or related chemical manufacturing environments is an advantage.
