3. Position Reporting Line
Production Team Leader / Senior Production Supervisor

4. Job Summary
The Production Rigger reports to the Production Team Leader/Senior Production Supervisor and is responsible to support rigging and splicing activities of the division based on production/sales orders.

5. Key Responsibilities
5.1 Fabricate, repair and splice wire ropes, slings and assemblies according to production/sales orders.
5.2 Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all items fabricated/manufactured are in accordance to the company’s quality standards.
5.3 Understand and comply with safety requirements at all times.
5.4 Any other tasks as assigned.

6. Job Requirements

6.1 Educational Qualification and Experience
Primary school / no formal education
1 year working experience in wire rope sling/metal manufacturing environment

6.2 Skills and Abilities
Resourceful, physically fit to lift / carry equipment of up to 40kg
Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
Ability to converse in simple English
