Tanggungjawab

POSITION SUMMARY:

Welds metal objects together by means of an oxyacetylene torch or arc welder apparatus to fabricate metal shapes or articles or to repair broken or cracked metal objects.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adheres to all Company Policy & Procedures and Department Procedures.
  • Brings to the attention of management, problems which affect the production / quality of the area for which responsible.
  • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed.
  • Meets production schedules on delivery requirements.
  • Set up pre-fitted parts for welding. uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures.
  • Work from specifications, drawings, prints or welding symbols.
  • May perform layout work and cut metal with a cutting torch.
  • Cycles times for each operation.
  • Checks work in process for any post fab employee requiring an in-process inspection sign off during the shift.
  • Assures all items on inventory list are logged in.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Diploma and above
  • At least two (2) years in welding steel and aluminum structures.
  • Understand basic English Communication - to understand MPI & Check Sheet.
  • Must have knowledge in TIG and MIG welding.
  • Able to read and understand drawing & welding symbol is an added advantage.
  • Possess knowledge of problem solving related to welding - such as perform rework.
  • Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination.
  • Understand specific work order flow.
  • Work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust ************* dust particles.

EDUCATION & TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma and above
  • At least two (2) years in welding steel and aluminum structures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM2,300.00 per month
