Position: Senior EDW System Analyst
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior EDW System Analyst to join our banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments, data warehousing, ETL processes, and banking data domains. The role involves analyzing business requirements, supporting data warehouse solutions, and ensuring data quality and performance across enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and support Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions within the banking environment.
- Work closely with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and support data integration, ETL processes, and data warehouse applications.
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data validation activities.
- Support data warehouse enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in project implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- 6–9 years of experience in Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering projects.
- Strong experience in Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Hands-on experience with Teradata Data Warehouse technologies.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or SAS.
- Good understanding of data modelling concepts and banking data architecture.
- Experience working with Hadoop, Data Lakes, or Big Data platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, SAS, Python, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, or QuerySurge is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in Teradata, Informatica, SAS, Data Analytics, or related technologies will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and development.
- Experience with DB2, AS400, Business Objects, Control-M, and related enterprise tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
