Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Maintenance Technician di Mapei Johor - Maukerja

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support smooth plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and execute efficient and effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities to minimize downtime of equipment and systems.

2. Independently troubleshoot machines or provide minimal supervision for troubleshooting.

3. Ensure timely completion of all PM tasks and maintain accurate records.

4. To provide technical support to the technical team during machine installation, testing and commissioning.

5. Assist in cost reduction, cost-saving efforts, machine setup, and enhancing PM efficiency and machine repair times.

6. Lead investigations into process and quality failures stemming from equipment or process-related issues and propose permanent solutions.

7. Update all equipment and instrument Preventive Maintenance records and other related documentation.

8. Contribute ideas for machine, process, and operation improvements, emphasizing speed and simplicity.

9. Take accountability and ownership of all equipment and processes.

10. Lead and support spare parts inventory management to prevent zero stock situations.

11. Any other job function assigned, and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary from time to time.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

1. Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Fitter & Technician or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

3. Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery, and maintenance procedures

4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

5. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

8. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures

9. Good communication and interpersonal skills

10. Applicants must be willing to work in Senai, Johor.
