About the role

Adept Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team. As a Lifting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations on our construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects. This is a full-time position that will be crucial in supporting our company's growth and delivering high-quality work to our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing lifting plans to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment on site

2. Supervising and coordinating the work of crane operators, riggers, and other personnel involved in lifting operations

3. Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

4. Providing training and guidance to the team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency

5. Monitoring and reporting on the performance of lifting equipment and making recommendations for maintenance or replacement

6. Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of construction projects

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry

2. Thorough understanding of lifting equipment, rigging, and load-handling techniques

3. Excellent knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

4. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of crane operators and riggers

5. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges on the job site

6. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lift plans

7. Valid lifting supervisor certification or equivalent
