Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Internship to support our HR Executive in day-to-day HR operations, administrative management, foreign worker management, recruitment, training, and company initiatives.
This role is perfect for fresh graduates or interns looking for hands-on experience across multiple HR areas in a construction/project environment. You will gain exposure to employee welfare, leave management, payroll support, disciplinary processes, accommodation coordination, and general office administration while contributing to departmental projects and company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administrative Support
· Assist in HR administrative management including employee records, filing, and reporting.
· Support leave applications, payroll input verification, and disciplinary documentation.
· Help maintain compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
2. Foreign Worker (FW) Support
· Assist in processing and renewing FW permits, visas, and work documents.
· Support FW onboarding and offboarding (documentation, asset issuance/return, exit procedures).
· Coordinate FW accommodation, welfare issues, and minor maintenance requests.
· Maintain accurate FW records and assist HR Executive in reporting.
3. Recruitment & Training Support
· Assist in recruitment activities (job postings, candidate shortlisting, interview coordination).
· Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
· Help organize training and development sessions, workshops, or company events.
· Assist in employee engagement initiatives and HR programs.
4. Company Licensing & System Renewal Support
· Assist in tracking and renewing company licenses and system/software licenses.
· Maintain records and reminders for license expiry and renewal deadlines.
· Support documentation and submissions required for statutory or regulatory compliance.
5. Admin, Asset & Facilities Support
· Track company assets (laptops, tools, access cards, PPE) – issuance, returns, and updates.
· Maintain office supplies, pantry stock, and utilities tracking.
· Assist in office maintenance coordination and vendor communication.
· Support travel arrangements for management or staff.
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the HRA Executive and supports HR administrative management, FW management, recruitment, training, licensing renewals, and office/admin operations.
Requirements
· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration/Management/Or related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & basic documentation.
· Detail-oriented, organized and able to handle confidential information.
· Willing to work in construction/project site environment (if required).
· Able to work independently with guidance from HR Executive.
· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
