Full Time Maintenance Manager Jobs, in Mapei Johor - Maukerja

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance, improve equipment reliability, and support efficient and safe operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for effective plant machinery maintenance as well as upkeep of plant facilities and utilities to ensure smooth facilities and utilities support for overall plant operations.

2. Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the operations, including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, and developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

3. Manage and review the modification and improvement projects. Also lead the engineering projects with cross functional teams to ensure timely project completion within budget and meeting expectations.

4. Identify and study opportunities for equipment and process improvement by taking an active role in plant improvement. Also provide technical support and troubleshooting for sites.

5. Review existing work practices and implement necessary improvements.

6. Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.

7. Provide monthly maintenance reports and costs besides field trouble shooting assistance.

8. Responsible for continuing improvement of existing facilities and machineries to achieve better production yields.

9. Supervise work of the maintenance team and contractors to ensure work is done and complied with safety regulations. Also to follow up on deficiencies, if any.

10. Upgrade machinery and equipment towards automation and productivity improvement.

11. Ensure competency and development of subordinates by providing coaching and mentoring. Oversee training programs in Maintenance department to educate technical operations personnel on standard operating procedures.

12. Arrange necessary training for team member in technology, competency and safety & health.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

1. Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical).

2. Possess high standards of integrity and personal work standards – strong knowledge, experience and skills in cross-cultural negotiation and business environment.

3. Proactive, self-starter and capable of managing multiple projects / priorities at once.

4. Able to think out-of-the-box, drive dynamism & encourage new ideas.

5. Excellence planning and project management skills are desired.

6. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong and focused leadership, and sociable team player.

7. Strong communication skills.

8. Computer Literacy : Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & PowerPoint)

9. Minimum 8 to 10 years of solid Engineering working experience in a manufacturing environment (preference from heavy industry).
