Role Description This full-time Cleaner role is an on-site position based in Kuching. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, common spaces, and other facilities. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying trash bins, and cleaning glass and fixtures. The role also involves restocking supplies such as tissues, soap, and cleaning materials, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. The Cleaner is expected to follow established cleaning schedules, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and collaborate respectfully with colleagues and occupants to support a clean and comfortable environment.
Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safe use, storage, and dilution of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning equipment and supplies for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
• Basic communication skills to understand instructions, report issues, and interact respectfully with team members and building occupants.
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays if required.
