Job Scope:
A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems, components, and equipment. They analyse project requirements, create detailed technical drawings and models, select appropriate materials, and ensure designs meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. They also collaborate with cross functional teams, supervise fabrication/installation, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing technical support to optimize performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support customized semi and fully automatic machines.
- Responsible for project delivery and project coordination.
- Attend meetings with customers to review design and progress.
- Support during manufacturing assembly and customer buy-off.
- Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements
- using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical
- documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations (e.g. tolerance analysis, stress analysis, thermal
- analysis) to validate designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and procurement teams to ensure
- designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Support modifications and improvements of existing designs to enhance
- performance, reduce costs, or meet updated standards.
- Project management: Supporting Project Manager.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience in customized semi and fully automatic machines design preferred.
- Knowledge in 2D/3D CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
- Good understanding of automation processes well.
- Intrinsic desire and passion to design high performance machines.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,600.00 per month
