Job Title: Senior Electronic Technician
Department: Electrical/Electronic Team - Production & Workshop Department
Reports to: Workshop Supervisor
Qualification:
- Diploma or Certificate Level 2–3 in Electronics Engineering, Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in electronics maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair.
- Experience in oil and gas, marine, telecommunications, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and servicing of electronic, electro-mechanical, ROV, subsea, and associated equipment in the workshop, offshore, or at client sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and client standards while meeting project schedules and workflow expectations.
- Support maintenance, mobilization, demobilization, loading, unloading, rigging, slinging, forklift operations, and other manual handling activities related to ROV and subsea equipment.
- Identify technical issues, conduct fault finding and root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide practical training to apprentices and interns, including demonstrating work procedures, best practices, manual handling techniques, and always ensuring their safety while working on-site or in the workshop.
- Collaborate with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and fabrication personnel to complete departmental and project-related tasks.
- Prepare, maintain, and update service reports, asset maintenance report, test reports, job documentation, and other technical records in both online and offline work folders.
- Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and ensure tools, equipment, and lifting devices are properly maintained, stored, and utilized.
- Support manufacturing, upgrade, and special project activities as assigned by supervisors.
- Respond effectively to urgent operational requirements and short notice work assignments.

- Ensure timely completion of performance review process, adhering to established timeframes and guidelines. This includes accurately inputting feedback, setting goals, and following the review process as outlined to ensure compliance with company standards.
