About our client

We are partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm with a growing global footprint across Asia and beyond. They are looking for Quantitative Product Development Engineers to join their live trading operations across multiple locations.

This is not a traditional backend or pure quant strategy role. Think of it as production engineering meets trading systems — you will be at the frontline of keeping trading systems alive, stable, and continuously optimized in real market environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support live trading operations including fund management, PnL reconciliation, order execution monitoring, and broker/exchange connectivity
• Work closely with research teams on strategy onboarding and live deployment
• Develop and maintain trading system features in a real production environment
• Identify and resolve issues across upstream and downstream systems affecting stability
• Optimize execution paths, latency, and trading infrastructure (including COLO environments)

What We're Looking For

• Background in quant funds, exchanges, or internet tech is preferred; autonomous driving (simulation/planning) and game engine/server development are also welcomed
• Proficiency in C++ is a must
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex production systems
• Experience with high-concurrency, distributed, or real-time systems
• Ownership mindset — you care about stability and performance outcomes

• Quantitative hedge funds or market makers
• Internet companies with distributed systems, high-concurrency, SRE, or real-time compute experience
• Autonomous driving (simulation or decision planning)
• Game engine or game server development
