Support the execution of tenders and new business opportunities by ensuring submissions are competitive, compliant, and aligned with client requirements and internal governance standards. Actively contribute to sales processes, stakeholder management, and industry-focused value selling, while maintaining a strong pipeline and delivering accurate, timely proposals.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in presenting solutions to potential clients and partners via meetings, calls, and emails.
- Support the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing, and handover to operations.
- Ensure all opportunities are captured, tracked, and followed through with precision.
- Maintain an updated pipeline and sales administration records.
Managing Stakeholders
- Deliver client proposals, contracts, and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to develop leads and proposals.
- Keep all stakeholders informed of developments and aligned on deliverables.
Industry Knowledge & Expertise
- Apply strong commercial, technical, and contractual knowledge to drive value-based selling.
- Stay current with industry trends to match customer needs with the right solutions.
- Own a personal development plan, focusing on project financing and economics.
- Uphold company safety values proactively.
Tender & Governance Responsibilities
- Support tender submissions to ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Prepare bid schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure clarity of scope.
- Compile handover dossiers upon project award.
- Liaise with internal audit on departmental matters.
- Secure all necessary internal approvals before submission.
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance, or Engineering (Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Naval Architecture).
- Postgraduate business qualifications are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in the Energy/Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven background in handling tenders and new business opportunities.

- Strong contracting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel frequently on short notice.
- Analytical mindset with ownership of assigned tasks.
