If you are passionate about building resilient, secure and scalable digital infrastructure, we are looking for a DevOps Lead to join SGTraDex Technologies Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of IMDA. 

What the role is:  

DEX is Singapore’s trusted data-exchange digital utility — powering secure and interoperable data flows across key sectors such as Supply Chain & Logistics (SGTraDex), Built Environment (SGBuildex), Healthcare (SGHealthdex), and more to come. 

As a DevOps Lead, you will be part of the Engineering Team and play a key role in designing, implementing and operating the infrastructure and DevOps capabilities that support DEX’s platforms and products. 

What you will be working on:  

• Lead the design, implementation and operations of robust, scalable and secure infrastructure services to support business and platform needs 

• Decompose complex infrastructure challenges into independently executable plans, actively managing cross-team dependencies and timelines to ensure predictable delivery 

• Define, implement and continuously improve build, release and deployment practices to ensure high availability, resiliency, scalability and security 

• Work closely with product, engineering, system integrators and operations teams to establish and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment routines 

• Drive infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives to improve developer productivity, observability, self-healing capabilities and operational efficiency 

• Oversee cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments in AWS ensuring performance, reliability and governance 

• Establish and enforce high standards for task planning  

• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting and incident response capabilities across systems and platforms 

• Support the development and adoption of technical and interoperability standards across DEX platforms 

• Maintain high-trust communication loops with engineering and product stakeholders by proactively surfacing timeline risks, mitigations and status updates  

• Provide technical leadership to the infrastructure and DevOps function, guiding implementation best practices in security, compliance and operational excellence 

We are looking for an individual with strong technical depth, hands-on DevOps experience, and the ability to lead independently in a fast-paced environment. 

You should have: 

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline 

• Proven hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps and platform operations 

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in: 

• IT infrastructure engineering and operations 

• Operational automation and scripting 

• Software-defined networking and Infrastructure as Code 

• Cloud and application hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure and Kubernetes 

• Hybrid infrastructure environments across VMware, AWS, Azure and GCP 

• Monitoring, logging and observability tools 

• Terraform and Jenkins 

• Good understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodology, ITIL, modern application development, infrastructure security and compliance 

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

• A strong bias for action in handling ambiguity, with a track record of turning vague requirements into clear team direction and safely executable steps. 

• The ability to lead small cross-functional groups (2-5 engineers) to drive initiatives to completion, delegating effectively and unblocking others. 

• A deep commitment to operational hygiene and engineering excellence, championing rigorous documentation, reliable delivery estimates, and adherence to agreed team practices.
