As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a Support Engineer to join our Malaysia Team and support our regional operations.

Support Engineer (HCM products)

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues in production
• Perform root cause analysis and provide effective workarounds or fixes
• Ensure timely response, updates, and resolution
• Escalate complex issues to L3 / engineering teams when required
• Analyze system logs, database records, and configurations to identify issues
• Monitor system health, uptime, and performance
• Prevent recurring issues by identifying patterns and recommending improvements
• Maintain and update knowledge base articles, user guides, and documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders (e.g., operations users)
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field. Fresh graduate is welcomed
• 3+ years of experience in application or production support
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability and willingness to trace application code, logs, configuration, and SQL for troubleshooting
• Ability to trace data across systems and understand application flows
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices
• Self-initiative and proactive with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment across regions.

Good to Have:

• Experience in payroll, HR systems, or SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., JIRA)
