Role Description The Leasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Georgetown, responsible for leading all leasing activities and supporting the overall performance of the property. This role oversees the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in, including conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and ensuring accurate completion of leasing documentation. The Leasing Manager monitors occupancy and revenue goals, conducts basic market research to understand local rental trends, and recommends pricing or promotional strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing lease administration, coordinating with maintenance and property management teams, and responding promptly to resident and prospect inquiries. The Leasing Manager also leads resident retention efforts by addressing concerns, organizing engagement initiatives, and helping maintain a positive, professional community atmosphere.
Qualifications

  • Experience managing leases and lease administration, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining accurate lease documentation.
  • Knowledge of property management practices with a focus on day-to-day operations, resident relations, and coordination with maintenance teams.
  • Ability to perform basic market research to track rental trends, competitor offerings, and local demand.
  • Demonstrated skill in resident retention, including resolving issues, supporting renewals, and promoting community satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, prospects, and vendors.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple leasing activities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in property management or leasing software and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools).
  • Previous experience in residential leasing, sales, or hospitality is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in real estate or property management are beneficial.
