Production Technician

• Performing the duties of Production Technician, working within a rotating roster system.
• Responsible for the operation of the process system under the direction of Lead Production Technician and/or the Production Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems, and restore normal operating conditions to ensure continuous operations.
• Assist Lead Production Technician as an operation liaison, co-ordinate the production, maintenance and project activities to ensure smooth implementation.
• Monitor and report stock inventory of chemicals, materials and consumables for production requirement.
• Ensure HSE and operational performance targets within area of responsibility are achieved.
• Assist other trades and disciplines as required within the limits and capabilities and experience to meet maintenance/operation requirements.
• Prepare well facilities and ensure safe interface with production systems.
• Verify barriers and isolations before slickline operations commence.
• Monitor pressure, flow, well status, and ensure safe execution of slickline tasks
• Assist in wellhead valve operation.
• Support troubleshooting of surface wellhead equipment and production anomalies.

Requirements:

• Hold a recognized educational certificate.
• Have at least five (5) years’ related working experience in Floating Production Systems (FPSO/FSO) and/or Offshore Processing Platform.
