We're Hiring: Internal Auditor – Group Internal Audit Department

Are you passionate about risk management, compliance, and driving operational excellence? Join our dynamic Group Internal Audit team and play a key role in safeguarding the integrity of our operations.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct audits and inspections across AmBank Group’s operations to assess control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in post-audit administrative tasks and reporting.
• Prepare audit documentation, workflows, and system notes.
• Highlight audit findings and support reporting to AEC, Board, and Regulators.
• Stay updated on audit techniques, technologies, and regulatory developments.
• Participate in ad-hoc reviews and investigations as required.

What We’re Looking For

• A basic degree in Accountancy or a professional accountancy qualification.
• Candidates pursuing professional qualifications under the Bank’s approved training contract are welcome.
• Strong competencies in audit know-how, IT audit, legal & regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certification for Bank Auditors
• Function-specific certifications (e.g., PCC, Shariah, IT)
• Membership with Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB)
