About the role

We is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Engineering to join our team in Simpang Ampat Penang. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering function, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

What you'll be doing

• The Department Manager for Engineering - to provides di¡ection and leads the Mechanical Engineering team, Manufacturing Engineering Team , NPI & Automation Team , and MSG & Tool Room Team .
• He / She leads and controls the NPI activities , Product, Process , and quality of the PCBA and Box Build Operations. He creates tactical and executes activities in accordance with the Company SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to meet the desired while establishing strong customer relationship .
• A strong "hands-on" leader in Mechanical Engineering who meet customer demands and optimizes design for manufacturability and quality . Lead a group Section Managers and Engineers to drive daily product, quality, equipment, and process issues and monitor the process stability and equipment stability up to Box Build .
• The position drives continuous improvement and meets quality requirements. Provide technical direction and guidance on Mechanical Engineering related to manufacturing og Printed Circuit Board Assemblies , Electro-Mechanical Sub-Assemblies and Box Build products.
• Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet manufacturing process capability requirement. Lead Engineering teams in developing continuous process improvements and ensure implementation of effective processes to support the new product introduction.
• Collaborate with Business Development & Program Management Teams , acting as the key technical lead with customer when needed to meet customer design criteria and optimize the customer's concepts in product delivery process.
• Strategic thinker and result driven . Fast learner and a technology driven personality .
• Ability to think through details and is an analytical person .
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) ,ability to lead discussions and make effective presentation.
• Ability to gain the confidence of leaders, peers , and team members and able to influence decisions .

What we're looking for

• Minimum Degree or Master in Mechanical / Electrical /Electronic Engineering with sound knowledge in Engineering
• At least 10 years experience in a leadership role and leading.
• Mechanical Engineering / Design 1 New Product Introduction teams
• Experienced in New product Introduction , Process Development , Engineering, Design / Mold Tooling Design .
• Experienced in PCBA / Test Development is an added advantage .
• Experienced with quality standards ISO9001 ,ISOl3485 and, l4TFl6949 .
• Experienced in FDA implementation . Strong experienced in continuous improvement .
• Experienced in Six Sigma implementations.
• At least 10 years experience in a leadership role and leading
• Root Cause Analysis & Validation Knowledge.
• Establishing manufacturing process assembly .
• Engineering Change Management & Engineering Technical Capability .
• Understanding Quality Standard
• Core Competencies (Communication , Teamwork , Innovative , Assertiveness and responsible , Self - discipline , Drive Excellence).
• Leader Competencies (Decision Making , Problem solving, Strategic Thinking , Analytical Thinking , Managing shared value, Critical thinking) .
