Job Title: Backend Developer – Digital Banking (Retail Banking)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer to support the development and enhancement of digital banking solutions within the retail banking domain. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring-based frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience and a solid understanding of banking application environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for digital banking platforms
• Build and enhance APIs and microservices using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with frontend teams, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Develop and optimize database interactions using Oracle and SQL
• Participate in system integration and environment support activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation
• Follow best practices in secure coding, performance optimization, and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in backend development (Java-based technologies)
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Unix-based systems (HPUX, Linux, Solaris)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
