Principle Duties
Assist in handling stamp duty matters for contracts and procurement-related documents.
Check and ensure contracts and agreements are submitted for stamp duty adjudication and stamping within the stipulated timeline.
Follow up with internal departments and external parties on stamp duty status.
Maintain and update a stamp duty tracking list/record for all procurement contracts.
Ensure stamp duty certificates are properly recorded, filed, and kept for audit and reference purposes.
Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure stamp duty requirements are complied with.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of stamped agreements in both physical and softcopy records.
Assist in preparing reports or summaries related to stamp duty matters when required.
Perform administrative and documentation tasks related to contract and stamp duty matters.
Knowledge/Experience Required for the Job
1–3 years working experience in administration, procurement, legal documentation, or related area. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Attention to detail and ability to monitor deadlines.
Able to handle documentation and coordination work.
Basic knowledge of contracts or stamp duty is an added advantage.
Academic/Professional Qualification
Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field.
