Accounting Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting entries including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Prepare invoices, official receipts, payment vouchers, staff claims, and petty cash
Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and preparation of audit schedules
Monitor franchisee payments (royalties, materials, training fees) and follow up when required
Process supplier invoices for teaching materials, centre supplies, and operational expenses
Maintain proper filing and documentation for accounting records
Assist with SST documentation, corporate tax matters, and transfer pricing support
Coordinate with intercompany entities (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, etc.) for billing, payment-on-behalf, and reconciliation
Administrative Responsibilities
Support franchise operations by preparing documents, agreements, and centre-related correspondence
Assist in managing training schedules, centre onboarding documents, and franchise compliance files
Handle general office administration including stationery, office supplies, and maintenance coordination
Maintain staff payroll, attendance, leave records, and HR-related documentation
Prepare letters, reports, and internal memos when required
Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and travel arrangements
Liaise with franchisees, suppliers, and external parties to ensure smooth operations
Support day-to-day HQ administrative needs
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles
Basic understanding of accounting principles and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Experience with accounting software is an advantage
Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and ability to work independently
Good communication skills and a positive working attitude
Experience in the education industry or franchise operations is a plus
