Job Responsibilities

• Project Management:

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial concept and design

through to full production hand-over, ensuring delivery on time, within

budget, and to quality specifications. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and material

teams to ensure smooth and efficient product launches. 

• DFM/DFA:

Conduct Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly reviews to

ensure the product can be efficiently and cost-effectively produced. 

• Process Development:

Develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and test

procedures. 

• Pilot Builds & Validation:

Coordinate and oversee pilot builds, analyse the results, and perform

process validation to ensure stability and repeatability. 

• Supplier Management:

Work with material planner to ensure component readiness, manage quality

and supply, and facilitate the purchase of tooling.

• Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate production risks early in the development cycle by

performing risk analyses and developing mitigation plans. 

• Documentation:

Create and maintain all necessary documentation, including process

documentation, quality reports, and technical reports. 

• Tooling & Equipment:

Support the selection and validation of tooling and equipment required for

the manufacturing process. 

• Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes and

product design to reduce costs and improve quality. 

Key Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project Management, Smartsheet and KeyedIn.

• Proficiency in technical problem-solving and troubleshooting.

• Experience with CAD models and engineering drawings.

• Understanding of quality and regulatory standards.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, specifically in PCBA manufacturing, networking switches, storages and servers.
