Minimum qualifications:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of Electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to lift/move 23kg (50lb) of equipment as required. Ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
• Ability to work non standard, on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours.

Preferred qualifications:

• Electrical Technician's Licence.
• 4 years of experience in operating and maintaining mission critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, pharma, semiconductor, refineries, power plants, industrial, etc.).
• Troubleshooting experience with electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units and CRAC units.
• Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal operations or during emergency conditions.
