Requirements

  • Physical Capability: Able to lift and move boxes of pantry supplies/beverages comfortably.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy when counting items—missing small details causes big problems in inventory!
  • Reliability: Punctual, honest, and committed to your weekly shift schedule.
  • Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to log inventory numbers or check delivery sheets.
  • No prior experience needed, though past retail, supermarket, or warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with modern Accounting Software is required. High comfort level with digital workflows and standard office suites (Google Workspace / MS Office).
  • Tech-Savvy & Efficient: Strong interest in using software integrations, automation, and tech tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • High Adaptability: Comfortable wearing multiple hats and balancing desk-based financial tasks with physical stock/logistics management.
  • Core Traits: High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and trustworthiness when handling financial data.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Procurement: Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and handle purchasing for all smart pantry goods.
  • Logistics & Inventory Control: Oversee physical stock receiving, verify deliveries against purchase orders, and conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Supply Chain Financials: Manage the complete billing cycle for the smart pantry business unit, including reconciling supplier bills (AP) and issuing accurate invoices to B2B customers (AR).
  • Stock Receiving & Inspection: Meet delivery drivers, accept incoming goods, and check items for damage or shortages against the delivery orders.
  • Inventory Control & Stock Counts: Conduct regular physical stock counts in the storeroom/pantry area to ensure physical inventory matches our digital system records.
  • Organizing & Shelving: Keep the stockroom neat, organized, and properly labeled. Restock pantry shelves/units efficiently using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to minimize wastage.
  • Basic Order Prep: Help pick, pack, and prepare pantry goods for dispatch or customer delivery when required.
  • Communication: Flag low-stock items or discrepancies immediately so reordering can be done on time.
