We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure,scalable,and cost-effective cloud solutions across enterprise environments.The candidate will play a key role in driving cloud transformation initiatives,modernizing applications,and providing technical leadership across infrastructure,security,DevOps,and cloud-native technologies.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in cloud platforms,architecture governance,stakeholder management,and enterprise solution design within the Malaysian market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture &Solution Design
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures across IaaS,PaaS,and SaaS platforms.
- Develop solution blueprints,reference architectures,architecture standards, and high-level/low-level designs.
- Ensure architectures are scalable,resilient,secure,high-performing,and optimized for operational cost.
- Define reusable enterprise architecture patterns and technology standards.
Cloud Transformation &Modernization
- Lead cloud migration,modernization,and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies including:
o Microservices
o Containers
o Kubernetes
o Serverless architectures
o API integrations
- Guide engineering teams in implementing modern DevOps and automation practices.
- Support infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD implementation strategies.
Technical Leadership
- Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor for cloud solution initiatives.
- Provide deep technical expertise in:
o Compute services
o Networking
o Storage
o Identity &Access Management (IAM)
o Security
o DevOps
- Review and validate technical implementation designs and deployment approaches.
- Troubleshoot complex solution and integration issues.
Stakeholder &Governance Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders,project teams,vendors,and engineers to gather requirements and define solution strategies.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Present architectural recommendations,design justifications,risks,and solution trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on cloud adoption frameworks,governance,and best practices.
Security,Compliance &Cost Governance
- Ensure all cloud solutions comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
- Implement:
o Identity and access management controls
o Encryption standards
o Network security controls
o Cloud governance policies
- Support enterprise cloud landing zone implementation.
- Drive cloud cost governance and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure,cloud engineering,or enterprise architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Cloud Architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms:
o Microsoft Azure
o AWS
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience in enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
o Cloud-native architecture
o Enterprise networking
o Security architecture
o DevOps and CI/CD
o Infrastructure as Code
o Kubernetes and containerization
- Familiarity with:
o Terraform
o Docker
o Azure DevOps /GitHub Actions /Jenkins
o Monitoring and observability tools
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified:Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- TOGAF certification is an added advantage

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
