Job Description

• Install, configure, and maintain relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Monitor database performance, availability, and reliability.
• Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, triggers, views).
• Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues within SLA.
• Manage user access, roles, and database security.
• Perform database maintenance, patching, and scheduled downtime activities.
• Support data migrations between database platforms.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support and best practice guidance to developers and users.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a DBA.
• Strong experience in relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server / DB2).
• Good knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, backup & recovery.
• Understanding of database security and access management.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to support production issues outside working hours when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
