OCTAGON GROUP is currently seeking to hire talented Production Engineer to join our team. Octagon is a fully integrated signage company equipped with in-house capabilities from designing, manufacturing, installation and maintenance providing a one-stop end-to-end business solutions for the corporate image needs.

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimizing production processes to achieve production targets, maintain product quality, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning and Monitoring
• Monitor daily production activities to ensure production schedules are met.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Analyze production performance and recommend improvements.
• Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Implement process improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Reduce waste, downtime, and production bottlenecks.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
• Analyze production data and present findings to management.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Team Coordination
• Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel.
• Assist in training production operators on processes and procedures.
• Foster teamwork and continuous improvement within the department.

· Maintain compliance with ISO standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum [1] year of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and process improvement methodologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production-related software.
• Working hours Monday to Saturday
• Can start immediately

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
