IT Support Engineer (End User Computing)
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor (On-site)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (by rotation)
- Standby after office hours for critical issues (based on severity)
- Public holidays follow the customer’s schedule
About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and reliable IT Support Engineer (End User Computing) to provide on-site technical support within a corporate environment in Petaling Jaya.
This role involves handling day-to-day IT operations, managing BAU (Business-As-Usual) issue tracking, and supporting small IT enhancement initiatives. You’ll play a key part in ensuring consistent service delivery, operational compliance, and user satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
End-User Support & Maintenance
- Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (e.g., printers, copiers).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues within defined SLAs.
- Perform OS patching, configuration updates, and system maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
BAU Issue Tracking & Reporting
- Record and manage incidents, service requests, and problems using structured tracking methods.
- Maintain accurate documentation, status updates, and closure notes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly summaries highlighting progress, trends, and outstanding items.
- Escalate recurring or critical issues for further investigation and resolution.
- Ensure visibility and accountability through consistent reporting practices.
Small Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in small-scale IT initiatives such as hardware refresh, patch rollout, and device relocation.
- Track project milestones and ensure deliverables meet timelines and standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for smooth execution.
- Contribute to process improvement and documentation updates.
Incident, Request & Asset Management
- Manage Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) activities, IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) tasks, and user access administration.
- Monitor software license usage and maintain compliance records.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and RMA processes as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in IT support or end-user computing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in Windows platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service delivery and structured reporting practices.
- Experience maintaining issue logs or trackers for operational visibility.
- Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to perform standby and rotational weekend duties.

Pay: Up to RM3,800.00 per month
