Position: Process Lead

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Duration: 6 Months Renewable contract

Job Description:

A leading engineering and energy company is seeking an experienced Process Lead to oversee process engineering activities across offshore and onshore oil & gas projects.

The consultant will provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary engineering teams involved in FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC project execution, ensuring high-quality process engineering deliverables and effective stakeholder coordination.

Roles and responsibilities

· Lead process engineering activities throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC phases.

· Review and approve process engineering deliverables, calculations and technical reports.

· Coordinate process engineering teams and multidisciplinary interfaces.

· Participate in client meetings, technical reviews and project decision-making activities.

· Support HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other safety review workshops.

· Provide technical leadership for process design, simulations and equipment sizing activities.

· Support commissioning, start-up and operational readiness activities.

· Ensure compliance with project requirements, engineering standards and industry best practices.

Goals and deliverables

· Lead process engineering activities across multiple project phases.

· Ensure technical quality and consistency of process engineering deliverables.

· Support successful project execution within schedule and budget constraints.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

· Act as a key interface between engineering disciplines, clients and project stakeholders.
